An announcement from President, Nick Bew regarding the 2020 Indoor Season:

To AVA members and the local volleyball community
As you are no doubt aware, there have been significant shifts both in the local and global community that we live in. COVID-19 has had a significant impact and will continue to have an impact for some time to come.
In response to COVID-19 public health issue, the AVA committee has taken the decision to postpone the start of the 2020 season. At this stage, we will be delaying the start of the season until after May 31st. The AVA is not envisaging a complete cancellation of the season; however, we also recognise the very fluid and dynamic situation we are currently facing and we will be reviewing this start date in early May.
The review of the start date will be informed by the most current, up to date information available from the Department of Health, Volleyball Western Australia and Volleyball Australia. We appreciate your continued support and actions at this time.
